Guard Buddha Bear got his name from the fact that he is a bear, and he has a Buddha belly. He was called to the Order in February, 2016, after having moved to New Orleans from Boston, and wanted to meet new people and do something for his community. Buddha Bear’s on-going novice project was to re-do the website for the Big Easy Sisters, ’cause it was an unholy mess. He is now the reluctant Webmaster for the House. Buddha’s turn-ons include beards, hairy chests, and brainy people, since he never underestimates the power of a good braingasm. His turn-offs include those who are self-centered, and Neo-Nazis. His hobbies are constant reading, knitting, and collecting yarn to the point that his boyfriend has threatened dire consequences if he brings any more yarn home. The animal he identifies with is the beluga whale, which is so fat that its blubber jiggles even while it is swimming.
